Description
Gwendolyn Catherine Tennyson is the cousin of Ben Tennyson from Bellwood. She went on a Summer long road trip with Ben as well as their Grandfather Max, but everything changed when Ben found the Omnitrix. As he became a hero, Gwen joined him on his journey to fight evil and defend the Earth. Along the way, she gains the skills and knowledge required to perform magic, making her an equally powerful defender of the planet.
Personality
Gwen is a very intelligent and resourceful young woman. Utilizing her knowledge for research, analysis in battle, and understanding the complex studies of both magic and alien biology (mainly from Ben’s aliens). She also possesses a black belt in karate and taekwondo, making her an efficient fighter in her own right.
Five Years Later
Description
Over the next five years, Gwen’s skills and abilities have only grown stronger and more proficient, leading her on the path to becoming a powerful sorcerer. She gains just as many enemies as her cousin Ben does, growing her into a superhero in her own right, Lucky Girl.
Personality
Over the years, Gwen becomes the emotional core of her team/family. Prefering to find the most peaceful solution to conflict even if it usually results in fighting.

Since the age of 10, Gwen has become incredibly proficient in the art of magic. As such this grants her a wide variety of powers like conjuring shields, energy bolts, tracking any person, summoning portals, controlling the elements, reading minds, and much more.
Over time she becomes a more capable and powerful sorceress. Pulling off moves that would normally fatigue her at age 10 casually as a teenager. Some claim that due to her unique biology, Gwen could be the most powerful being on her world, even surpassing her cousin’s alien forms on occasion.

She also possesses a black belt in karate and taekwondo, making her an efficient fighter in her own right.
Gwen is the same age as Ben (born only minutes before him).
She has been close with Ben even before he got the Omnitrix. But they still argue like children, and sometimes these are huge arguments. Over time their relationship is more akin to siblings/best friends.
Whereas Ben is a more outgoing and cocky person, Gwen is more level headed and analytical. She values knowledge and aspires to become a lawyer or a doctor/.
She was with Ben when he found the Omnitrix and is proud of him becoming a hero (albeit a little jealous at first). She’s very fascinated with Ben’s aliens and notes down their strengths and weaknesses to help Ben use his aliens like an arsenal.
A few months after Ben became a hero, they battled Charmcaster who unknowingly unlocked Gwen’s ability to use magic. After a few fights, Gwen obtained her magic book and began to study every incantation and ability she can use.
The art of magic is a lost art, with mages such as Hex and Charmcaster being the only ones who still practice it in the traditional way. Gwen, on the other hand, updates it with modern knowledge of martial arts and even alien lore to enhance her understanding. Becoming a master sorceress by the time she’s 16.
The reason Gwen is quicker at mastering magic than most is due to her naturally generating a large abundance of mana (the essence of magic). Thanks to her Grandma Verdona becoming an Anodite-being during her plumber day and thus passing “The Spark” down to Gwen genetically.
By the time Ben’s identity became public, she had become an exceptional sorceress in the five-and-a-half years. So she created the identity of “Lucky Girl” and became a superhero. She got this name after obtaining one of the charms of Bazel (the luck charm). She eventually gains the Telekinesis charm as well.
When Kevin Levin joined the team, Gwen grew a noticeable crush on him. When she turned 15, they began dating and eventually progressed into a supportive relationship with each other. Although his mutations and criminal past complicates this.
